Bailey bridge pier serve as the support structures that hold up the bridge deck and transfer the weight of the bridge and any loads crossing it down to the ground or riverbed below.

Bailey bridge pier is composed of foundation, pier body, top support and bridge span fixing device. The foundation consists of a base plate and anchor bolts; The pier is composed of 1m truss, Angle brace, HD321 Bailey panel standard truss, vertical cross brace 1, vertical Raker, vertical cross brace 2, horizontal wind structure.

The top support is composed of connecting plate 1, connecting plate 2, top beam air structure, top beam 2 tie rod, top beam 2 air structure, lower top beam 1, lower top beam 2, upper top beam and cushion beam; The bridge span fixing device consists of a press rod and a press rod seat.

1m truss and 321 Bailey panel standard truss can be assembled and erected according to the height requirements of the pier. The weight of the pier rod is light, the maximum unit weight is about 270kg, the maximum length is 3.334m, and it can be transported by ordinary road or railway vehicles, with large loading coefficient and convenient storage and transportation.

Trestle Legs: The vertical legs that rest on the ground or riverbed and support the weight of the bridge. These legs are usually made of steel or aluminum.

Transom Beams: Horizontal beams that span between the trestle legs, creating a support frame.

The pier of HD321 Bailey pier adopts 1m truss and HD321 Bailey panel standard truss as the foundation components to form square column pier. The top support of the pier is composed of beam staggered connection, and the space bar structure is connected between the pier.
